Goldtail is an independent leather atelier in Sydney, Australia, where each horse is made by hand.

The First Edition marks the beginning of each Goldtail horse's story.

Only nine pieces of each design will carry First Edition numbers. The design may return in future, but those numbers will never be issued again.

Because each Goldtail horse is individually handcrafted, very slight variations in leather grain, texture and hand-finishing may occur. Each piece is made to the same design and proportions and carefully checked for consistency before dispatch.

At this time, the horses themselves are not customisable.

A name of your choice can be added to the Stable Card (up to 15 characters, including spaces) — a discreet mark of belonging that makes each piece uniquely yours.

Yes. Every horse arrives in Goldtail’s signature gift packaging, ready to give or keep.

Orders are typically dispatched within five business days.

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with your DHL Express tracking details.

We ship worldwide with DHL Express. Delivery to the US, Canada, and Europe usually takes around 3–7 business days.

Yes. A signature is required by default. If you prefer your package to be delivered without a signature, please contact us after placing your order.

Please note that choosing “no signature” means the package may be left at your address and we’re unable to take responsibility for any loss or theft after delivery.

If it gets wet, blot away excess moisture and allow it to air-dry naturally.

Yes. As a natural material, leather matures with use. Over the years, it develops subtle creases, softness, and a gentle patina — a character that grows with its owner, making each piece truly personal.

If your piece arrives damaged, is incorrect, or has a quality issue, please contact us with your order details and photographs within 10 business days of delivery. We’ll assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy.
