Are taxes and duties included in the price?
Yes. All prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes and import duties.

In the very rare case that un unexpected fee is charged at delivery, please contact us and we’ll take care of it.
 

Shipping

Where do orders ship from?
All orders are dispatched from Sydney, Australia.

When will my order be dispatched?
Orders are usually dispatched within 3–5 business days.

Which courier delivers my order, and how long does it take?
We ship worldwide with DHL Express. Delivery to the US, Canada, and Europe usually takes around 3–7 business days.

For security reasons, all shipments require a signature upon delivery. If you prefer your package to be delivered without a signature, please note this at checkout or contact us after placing your order.

Please note that choosing “no signature” means the package may be left at your address and we’re unable to take responsibility for any loss or theft after delivery.

Will I need to pay anything on delivery?

No. All taxes and import duties are already included in the price, so there are no additional charges on delivery.
 

Packaging

Is gift packaging included?
Yes. Every horse arrives in Goldtail’s signature gift packaging, ready to give or keep.

Product & Personalisation

Can I customise my horse?
At this time, the horses themselves are not customisable. Personalisation is available through embossing the Stable Card with the owner’s name (up to 15 characters, including spaces and symbols) — a discreet mark of belonging that makes each piece uniquely yours.

Will a limited-edition horse ever be produced again?
No. Each horse is created in a limited edition and will not be produced again.

Are all pieces identical?
No. Each horse is handmade, and the natural character of the leather makes every piece one of a kind.

How do I secure a limited-edition number?
Edition numbers are assigned in order of purchase for each release.

Once you’ve received your first horse and shared your impression with us — by email at contact@goldtailatelier.com — you’re welcome to request a preferred number from those still available for future purchases. We’ll confirm availability at the time of your order.

By sharing your impression, you consent to Goldtail featuring your words for promotional use.
 
 

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return or exchange an item?
If there is a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or an error with your order, we’re happy to repair, replace, or offer store credit.

Please contact us via email at contact@goldtailatelier.com within 7 days of delivery and we’ll find the best solution together. In most cases, we won’t ask you to return the piece, and we’ll arrange the simplest resolution for you.

Because each Goldtail horse is handmade in small runs, we’re unable to accept returns for change of mind.


 

Care

How should I care for my horse?
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and water. Clean gently with a soft cloth. For long-term storage, keep it in a dust bag.

Will the leather change over time?
Yes. As a natural material, leather matures with use. Over the years, it develops subtle creases, softness, and a gentle patina — a character that grows with its owner, making each piece truly personal.
